Scrapestack Free Plan: Limits & What to Check

Check the scrapestack free plan: 100 monthly requests, non-commercial use, HTTPS and what to verify before moving beyond a small trial.

The official pricing page lists 100 requests per month on the free plan, non-commercial use, standard proxies and HTTPS. Check that page and your dashboard before relying on the allowance or starting commercial work.

This is an independent explanation on scrapestack.dev. We do not issue scrapestack.com API keys, sell its plans or manage its accounts. Our browser CSV cleaner is a separate free local tool and does not make API requests.

What can a small free trial tell you?

Use a trial to check one defined question: can the service return the HTML needed for your extraction? Choose a small permitted target and inspect the response before collecting more pages. A technically successful fetch does not prove that your parser extracts the correct records or that your eventual use is covered by the plan.

Keep a trial worksheet

Target page: [URL you may collect]
Fields needed: [for example, link text and destination]
Expected source: [initial HTML or JavaScript-loaded content]
Requests budgeted: [small, explicit limit]
Success check: [compare a sample with the original page]
Next decision: [continue locally, revise the parser or review a plan]

Check limits before enabling more features

Plan availability and usage accounting can differ by feature. Check the current treatment of rendering, premium options, concurrent requests and any overage behavior for your account. Do not rely on an old blog post or assume that an API request always equals one exported record.

How many pages can I scrape with 100 requests?

A request allowance is not a promise of 100 complete, usable pages. Retries, pagination, optional features and the target's response affect your collection workflow. Track the dashboard's actual usage and set a local stopping condition before scheduling repeated runs.

Can I use the free plan for business?

The linked pricing page labels the free plan for non-commercial use. Verify the current terms for your intended project directly with the provider. This guide is not permission to use a plan outside those terms.

Can I learn website scraping without an API account?

Yes. Our Python website scraping tutorial uses the standard library and one HTML page, with no API subscription required. It is useful for learning fetching, parsing, relative URLs and CSV output. It does not supply proxy infrastructure or execute JavaScript.

Before changing plans

Estimate the pages, retry allowance, run frequency and features you actually need. Confirm billing and cancellation details with the provider. If you decide to test the API, follow the independent API quickstart and keep your private key out of browser scripts.
